A recent onsite training at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland, allowed aircrew from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 461 to learn how to operate the new, remotely-operated and hydraulically-actuated Multi-Utility Loader – Expeditionary (MULE). MULE enables assault support platforms like the CH-53K heavy lift helicopter to conduct expeditionary cargo operations in austere environments, delivering essential supplies to ground forces.
